This project was really fun to be part of, for many reasons.  I enjoy trying to write something based on the music I’m listening to (remember?), and the creative rush of deadlines always produces something in a way that seems more mystical than creative. I learned that even during the Christmas season, I can get some work done.

I also had no idea that the album was to be limited in this way. I’m humbled to have been a part of that.

SO… I’ve been working on this for a while now… since September or so and this is the finished product.  It’s called The Quiet Group and it features 1 very long seamless track on the CD, handmade artwork and design and two poems, one by me, and one by the wonderful and talented (and did I mention generous with his time) Jim Withington.

The Quiet Group is limited to 33 copies and will not be sold. Each copy is reserved for someone who was supportive, has inspired me creatively, or was formative in my creative development.  I’m so excited with how this turned out, and I’m already dreaming up the next release.
